Great breakfast, place was packed. Only one waitress but looked like she was keeping up.
First time eating here, nice, cozy and clean. Our server Sara Davila, really good and friendly. The food was good. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
If you like small town diners, this is the place to eat in Big Spring, TX! Kathy has owned the restaurant 27 years. Most of the customers are regulars who are known by name. The food is fresh and delicious. I had the Patty Melt but was too hungry to take a picture. The homemade chocolate cake and the Key Lime Pie were great, too! If you've read other reviews and want the catfish, please note that it's only available on Friday as the daily special.
The big story here is the service.
I had a HUGE bacon and cheese omelette choc full of REAL bacon like comes from your mother's table, not see-through paper thin bacon but the greatest aspect of this homey little place was its staff. My waitress was the kind of person that didn't settle for ordinary. She worked the room with pride, professionalism, style, speed and grace. It was entertaining just watching her serve her patrons with a level of competency not commonly seen these days
Some of the best comfort food around, better than mothers

Great chicken fried steak and homemade gravy
Homemade cream pie to die for
