“How is it that while waiting for a spicy chicken sandwich to cook which I understand, however how is a "freshly made" sandwich still barely warm? Fries were cold, and my wife and I have been throwing up since we ate. I swear the 45 minute drive to the Midland location is worth it at this point. Big spring always manages to mess something up.”

“Delicious I don't really expect much in the way of seafood being in West TX however this is pur first time here and it's amazing! We got the fried alligator as a appetizer my husband and son have never had it and love it the salmon is better priced and better tasting than most places like outback etc. My son got the shrimp platter and loved it j got the trio fajitas but was stuffed from the alligator and ended up taking half home but was delicious as well”

The Salsa was too spicy, IMO the perfect Salsa on the first bite makes you say thats got a little kick to it and by the time you have gotten through the chips and Salsa The heat has built-up to the point your backing off . . this Salsa you just back off . . now they do have a mild not made with Jalapeños but you can't order the Man's Plate and order the Mild Salsa”

“We were looking for a local food stop after visiting the Vietnam veterans memorial and the Statue of liberty mini replica on the Tour of Honor motorcycle program. This place checked all of our boxes. Very local, nice people working there and that west Texas friendliness from the folks dining there. We had burgers and did a poor job planning for dessert but somehow finished some cherry cobbler. It's worth a stop if you are in the area.”

“WARNING TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS: THIS IS NOT HOT POTATO ANYMORE, AND IT ISN’T THE SAME THING. I hate leaving less-than-awesome reviews, especially when the food is decent and the staff are friendly, but I have to say something. We are on our way home, with still almost 4 hours drive ahead of us, and this side trip has cost us almost an hour. It took MORE than half an hour to receive our TWO burgers, with literally only one order ahead of us. Maybe if it was busy, this would be more understandable—and I know food cooked from scratch to order can take extra time. I appreciate and understand that the burgers aren’t frozen, but it doesn’t take 30 minutes to cook two patties and fries. I wish I hadn’t come up on the HOT POTATO on Google because it doesn’t exist anymore, and it has excellent reviews. I am giving 3 stars because I liked my burger (tho it took FAR too long) and the staff are friendly. I would give less stars for how long it took, but I want this to be seen and taken as feedback to better your business. Time management is necessary, y’all.”

The veggies were very tasty but heavily salted. The ground meat seemed previously frozen but still tasted good. Strangely, we received only one salad. Service was friendly and prompt. “I came to Big Spring to meet with a couple of the groups that I manage in Big Spring. Everyone recommended I stay at Hotel Settles and check out the grille. I went for breakfast and since I was in a bit of a rush I just got the French toast and boy was it good. Melissa my server was the sweetest. I just loved her upbeat and positive attitude so early in the morning. I highly recommend this place.”

“The Settles Hotel is beautiful!! My Husband & I have been waiting for an opportunity to stay there for a while. The room was very clean, the King bed was really comfortable. We ordered room service & the food was great! All the staff from the Front Desk to Housekeeping were all really friendly & nice They have a big pool & Hot Tub that is open. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We plan on staying there again soon!! 😊”
