PRO-TIP: The minimum charge for a credit card must be $5, so keep that in mind. I was forced to buy 3 extra things before I could use my CC, because I didn’t have any cash on me.
Got there in the last hour before closure at noon on a Monday. Came in and was met with a friendly lady. It was my first ever visit so I had read the reviews and noticed everyone raving about the blueberry donuts.
I first asked for burritos since I read so many good things online about this place and their burritos. But they were all out! Astonishing. I didn’t really see a veggie option anyways (bean and cheese doesn’t count). The place does open at 4.20 AM, so people must have beaten me to their supplies.
I got two blueberry donuts and they were absolutely good! Very different taste and pleasant. I then tried one chocolate donut - it was appalling and an absolute waste of money and food. I’ve tasted Krispy Kreme doughnuts my whole life, so I was comparing these donuts to theirs and the blueberry ones were good in their own way but these were just not satisfactory from any angle. Stay away from these. I threw away all of the chocolate donuts because they were hard and not flavorable at all. I also tried a maple glazed old-fashioned doughnut and loved this - I don’t think you can go wrong with old fashioned donuts unless you already don’t like the rough, cracked texture of these specific kinds of cake doughnuts. I did like these.
I did see red velvet donuts 👀 but I didn’t purchase them, so maybe next time…
I also tried the drive-through option because it intrigued me, as to how such a small shop can hold a drive-through structure along with a walk-in shop. There was only one person attending to both, so they are definitely understaffed at that time. Beware: it is a definitely a very narrow drive-thru lane, which surprised me as a Texan. I was holding my breath the entire time going through, panicking about potential scrapes but I managed to go through. It was okay.
All in all, bring cash only or purchase more than $5 of stuff if you plan to use credit/debit card. Definitely try the blueberry doughnuts as the reviews are very positive about them. The price is also very affordable. This wasn’t a jaw-dropping donut shop but it was better than the other Jack and Jill donuts I’ve tried here in Texas. The other alternative is driving 2 hours over to the Krispy Kreme location in Lubbock.
Best croissants, best bacon, best ham, soft flakey donuts, i suggest that everyone comes here!
AND BEST DRINKS!!!!

Me and my husband eat here quite often & love the lady that always serves us! She is so patient, understanding & sweet!! Overall they have the BEST burritos & kolaches. We wouldn't want to go to any other donut shop in Big Spring! If you want a great start to your day make this your morning stop!(:
