Dairy Land Drive Inn

Dairy Land Drive Inn has bbq and tacos and burgers. I’m surprised there wasn’t pizza too, just kidding. The staff were friendly and it was busy even at 2:00PM so they are doing well in Jacksboro. The chopped sandwich was okay, not a whole lot of meat in it. The fries were good. I’m curious about the nachos.

We drove about an hour out there to meet up halfway with some friends that also live about an hour from Jacksboro. The food was good for the most part, I will say I was a little disappointed with my turkey. I didn't think a smoked BBQ turkey would look like it came out of a bologna packaging. Moving on, the people were nice but very, what's the word I'm looking for, aware of our presence there. We had lots of stares as we made our way to our seats and throughout our stay. I would not say it was super uncomfortable but enough to notice their surprise to see such a strange group walk in (2 biracial couples and a mixed baby). Maybe it was because we aren't local, but still I was a little weary. Dessert was amazing though!

Oh my goodness. What a fantastic place to eat. Wasn't sure what to expect from the outside but WOW. A full menu including BBQ. Mexican, plate lunches....etc. food was unbelievable and service outstanding

Nice family dinner. You can just tell this place sank some roots in a small town and survived for a reason. Menu is unbeatable, service is great. It was a staple growing up stopping in through the years. I'd recommend if your living a good ways out of the area once a month take the trip and get some grub, it's the common consumer to patronize and keep these small family restaurants running.
