LA Cantina Mexican Grill

Good food. First time to have fried avocado. It was delicious. Will go back

New waiter was excellent! Food delicious. La Cantina has improved so much over the last few years. The new menu items are definitely a step above most Mexican restaurants.

What a great place. It is almost 8 pm on Sunday night and it is packed. People are very nice and the food is authentic. Highly recommend you checking Trinidad is awesome took great care of me.

Food was good as usual, but wait staff was very slow to respond. I have found this to be true any time I have been there when they are not very busy. Our visit this time was during the week about 1.5 hour before closing. This particular day not a full house, so we had to wait and wait for everything. Chips ran out, hot sauce ran out, drinks went empty. We actually had to flag someone down, which I don't like to do, to get any service. We where seated in the main seating area in front of the bar, so not like we where stuck back in the corner. We eat here many times throughout the year. I really like their food, but the last 3 times I have been (all within the last 2 months) service was very slow like this time...I certainly don't think it is because there is a lack of staff. We get much better service when the restaurant is busy.
