    The food is all right! I had oxtails with okra, cabbage, cornbread with banana pudding.
    The only thing I can say about them. I wish the food was seasoned a little better. The ???? banana pudding was fine. Good service manners.

    Food was Great. Got the smothered porkchops and must say is the best i've had in a long time

    Passing through to get to Houston. Stopped for lunch. All I can say is WOW! YUM! Great choice of home cooking soul food, just like my grandma used to make. I had the beef tips over rice (the tips were tender and the gravy was spot on) Dad had the smothered meatloaf (closed my eyes and I could see my grandma's cooking it). The food was so worth the detour but what made lunch even better was the service. The server/cook/cashier was super sweet and genuine! If you're looking for some special home cooked soul food then get yourself to Rosie's!
