“I just did a negative review last week about Green Light Kitchen that is about 2 blocks away from here last week. Chuck’s is a million times better and way better priced! I had the roast beef sandwich, PERFECT for a cold day! It was DELICIOUS! I will say I feel like the onion rings were over priced for the amount I got. $4 for like 6 onion rings, but I did get to-go, so they may have just not been able to put the usual amount in my to-go box. However, the taste of that sandwich made up for it. Making the customer feel important is something very crucial I need to feel when I review restaurants. Every employee there made me feel like they would go out of their ways to get me whatever I needed. There was one employee whom it seemed like his only job was customer service. He stood next to the trash can and threw stuff away for people. If he saw that you needed something, he would go get it for you. Great job, Chuck’s all around!!!!! I will DEFINITELY be coming back soon!”

“Been away from Beaumont since 2006. Every time I come to visit home the kids has to stop by this place for seafood. No place in Houston does it like them. Very hard to find something similar. The young cashiers were great. Full of energy and kept us laughing the whole visit. With all of the drama going on in my life right now. They made me forget about it for a moment. “I went there on a Saturday night and the place was busy, which is a great time for a buffet since the food is turned over often and generally stays fresh. The roast, chicken and Mexican fare was well seasoned and tasty. Most of the desserts we're very good and the rolls we're freshly baked. Some cookies were very hard and the steaks were very fatty though. The waitress was excellent and the rest of the staff kept the food coming and the place clean.”
