Dickeys Barbecue Pit

Very good food. Went for Mother's Day. They were out of power due to the bad weather that came through the other day, but were running with minimal power under generator. It didn't stop them from serving all the good food to a large number of people. At least everything except the ice cream.

I loved their sliced beef sandwich with cheese, onions and dipping sauce. It was delicious.

This barbecue place has the second best barbecue I have ever eaten (the best barbecue I have eaten is my Dad’s home cooked barbecue). The service here is marvelous and this place is very clean. This place is definitely one to consider when you are hungry for good Old Fashioned Texas Style Barbecue. It is very close to Motiva which is where I work and eat here quite a bit after work.

Fist time visit. Pretty good BBQ. Reasonably priced especially since kids meals are free on Sundays. Even our picky eater 9 year old enjoyed his food and the free soft serve at the end was a nice surprise. Staff was friendly and polite. Will make it a regular stop for us.

A fairly regular lunch spot to visit....never a wait and the staff us very friendly. I'm not a fan of everything on the menu but when I get a craving for those specific things they have it's a must for lunch. There are daily specials and my boss is almost always there for one day out of the week. I love they toast the buns and I usually ask for a little more fat in my chopped brisket so its not too dry
