“First time trying out this place. We had the pork chop plate & beef enchiladas plate which both come with rice & retried beans. I substituted the beans for home style fries. Everything was very good and hot. The homemade tortillas are hot & delicious. The food is like having a home cooked meal. Plan on eating here more often. Service is good and friendly. Martin the owner of the establishment is real cool and likes to hear the customers opinion of the food. Nice guy to talk to. I give 4 stars because i haven't tried the other dishes yet. Clean, friendly and very good food.”

“Went for the first time today on a breakfast date. I must saw it was nice, there is seating for plenty and adequate parking. Once you walk in the shelves with the pan are on the right side. Just grab you a tray and some tongs and grab what ever you want. We sat and had breakfast I had a barbacoa plate that was very delicious! It came with eggs potatoes and beans, also got a sausage biscuit on the side which was great! Had sweet tea that was very good jt wasent over sweetened so it was light and refreshing. Also ordered a coffee I like to eat the maranitos by dipping them in my coffee. The maranitos were so good packed with flavor. We also ordered a potato and egg taco that was stuffed it was so good and satisfying to the soul. The salsa was very well made not too picoso but it had a bite perfect for our food. The staff was amazing very friendly and constantly walking around refilling various drinks bringing various customer requests. Atmosphere was great had some tvs on the walls but it’s a quaint cozy spot that was reminiscent of that small neighborhood cafe that you grew up going with your grandparents to. It felt like home, the food was great not over seasoned but felt like abuelita made it with love. This will be a regular spot for our little breakfast dates. The tortillas were homemade so soft and fluffy every bite was heart warming. This really reminded me of a spot me and my grandparents used to visit when I was a child. It’s just what the soul needed. Highly recommend for a quick bite or if you got time to burn and just talk and converse in a welcoming environment. Seems like a popular spot for the neighborhood locals many people just having great conversation and enjoying a pause from the outside world. Highly recommend!!!”

“I ordered two to-go meals. One was for a family member and the other was for my boyfriend and I. While the atmosphere and staff we're great to us, I do not think serving pregnant people under cooked ground beef is ok. I have pictures of it, but it does not look like there is an option for me to attach those photos, which is suspicious as I love posting photos of food, both good and not good so other can see what they are getting into. Most places I have reviewed have an option to attach photos. Another complaint is just how greasy all the food was. One bite and it just drips all over your face, which is a little annoying and messy. Despite the undercooked ground beef, the sweet tea was a large size and was delicious! The sides that came with my plate, rice and beans were flavorful. Overall, I think the undercooked ground beef may have been an oversight as I don't see other reviews addressing this. The staff was great, service time was adequate, and the place was very clean! It seems like a great place to have tacos.”

“It's been a while since I rated any restaurants because honestly they haven't deserved a rating. That changed today! We were driving through on business and stopped in here to eat. BEST decision!!! The food, salsas and service were exceptional. Letty and Sylvia were amazing and gave us great suggestions. I had #21 and my husband had #4. Both were great! Try the other salsas too. I loved them all. Also the Tres Leches is probably the best I've ever had! This is a MUST if you are in the area. We will be back every time we are close!!!! I almost forgot...you can get breakfast all day. :-)”

“I don't quite understand some of the negative reviews. I've never had any trouble whenever I go here. Each time I always come here, the food is always hot, fresh, and ready. Their brisket plate is great, their chopped beef sandwiches are great, their loaded fries are great, and so much more. I could go on. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
