“When we first walked through the doors, we were promptly greeted by a gentleman named Eddie. He was amazingly polite, handled our order with ease, and to top it off, he was fun to talk to! When he wasn’t by the register, he never ceased cleaning the restaurant or checking on us or any other customers. Overall, Eddie was amazing! Unfortunately, due to corporate rules, we weren’t allowed to tip him. Our only negative experience to put a damper on Eddie’s glow, was that the kitchen staff was rather loud and obnoxious at times. Otherwise, we recommend this place!”

“Love that we have good BBQ joint here now. Great take out option, but also nice shaded tables to chow down! Jalapeno cheddar links and cheesy brisket loaded baked potato were perfect brunch for me and my daughter... Mmmhmmm. I got a pound of brisket to take for dinner next night. Owners are super friendly.”

“This place is beyond awesome! The general store can get you by but it’s the restaurant in the back you don’t want to miss. Perfect chicken fried steaks and my kids who are notorious picky eaters wanted seconds. Food is A+. Service: can’t beat it!! The restaurant was closed when we came in from a long road trip but John, the owner, cheerfully fired up the grill to feed our family of 6. He and everyone there treated us like family even though we made them stay late. Thank you John for your hospitality and your hilarious nature. Last-minute Billy and his family appreciate you and will always stop at The Hunt Store when in the Hill Country.”

“What an awesome place! The food is all organic and all dishes are amazing! You order your food at the window and pick it up when they announce your name. We were sitting on the porch enjoying a beautiful view of the flower garden. After eating our delicious brunch we went to the vegetable gardens and picked some tomatoes, peppers, radishes and eggplants. You can get them at their market but we loved seeing how everything grows and being able to pick them ourselves. Overall, it's been an incredible experience and we'll definitely come back”

“I love this place! Everything is fresh and the food is delicious! The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch until 3pm. They also have a cool maket with fresh local grown eggs, vegetables, cheese, wine, beer, quail and many more items for sale. I bought some homemade egg salad, fresh farm eggs and had some perfect asparagus grown right there on the farm. I made some eggs Benedict with some farm fresh eggs and asparagus from there. I'll post the pictures below! They are also starting to offer chair and full body massages with other holistic body work like reflexology and sound therapy.”

“Great staff, they have all been friendly and greet me as I walk in. Location always clean, food always just as ordered and wonderful. When I order delivery, it comes from this store, and the drivers are very nice. It's good to know that it comes from the Ingram location, so I'm sure that it comes from a clean kitchen with knowledgeable people making it.”

“The food here is great! I highly recommend it. At lunch most items are $10-12 so don't expect it to be cheap meal, but it is completely worth every penny! We were in town on spring break at Jellystone and drove over here to see Stonehenge 2. The cafe is right where you park for Stonehenge. The only downside is that there is no kids menu, but many of the sandwiches and tacos are kids friendly. Our two kids split the shrimp tacos (minus the sauces). They clearly aren't used to young families and most of the patrons are grandparent aged so I'd recommend sitting outside if your kids are a little bit louder or active so as not to disturb others. Despite not being used to young families they were helpful and kind. We enjoyed our meal and the river view and would come back again.”

“One word: delicious! I've been a few times now and haven't tried anything I didn't love. Very unique and exquisite tastes, and must-try specials. They also serve great coffee and have a wine bar. The atmosphere couldn't be better. The staff is incredibly friendly, inviting, and helpful. One of the best places in the area for a romantic date night or to meet up with a friend. Also accommodates larger groups well with great food options to share. I definitely recommend you go try this place for yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed.”

“Chicken strips were pretty dry, fries were decent but nothing special. Burger was large but not great. McDonald's burger was better. Dr. Pepper shake is pretty good. Service was average. I love their breakfast and wish it was available all day but other meals are just average.”

“Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Shrimp and grits w/ asparagus was bland. Fried shrimp were very good....but fries were the frozen kind, and not hot. Sat on the patio with our dog.”

“I LOVE Dickey's - in fact my husband calls it a "Dickey intervention" when I go too often - but recently the sides have been filled less and less. I even asked if she could put more in the cup as it was nowhere close to top and was told "this is all we put". The attached picture is from last visit. The medium side was not even half way full. I understand trying to stretch the creamed spinach or slaw so you can serve more people but I am not a fan of paying a LOT for skimping. Will have to find another favorite place, which I am totally bummed about.”

“Pier 27 River Lounge was a great place to stop for lunch and a beer. I had the Home-Wrecker Hot Dog and it was awesome. Be prepared when you order it. It’s huge! Great homemade curly chips. Awesome back deck overlooking the River. Great service and clean bathroom.”

“Never been to one of these before. Probably the most 'stream lined' type fast food Mexican restaurant I've been to. Menu is simple, and to the point. The staff was really friendly and made sure to go the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. Pricing is great, and understandable for what it is. If you want something simple and quick, try this instead of Taco Bell.”

“Pros: Good food, great location, cool building, and great view of the river. Cons: despite the food being good, it is relatively expensive. There is other sea food nearby that is just as good and isn't as expensive. I wont mention names. I'm sure you can find them relatively easy. All in all, decent food and great view. Dont expect a cheap bill at the end of your meal.”

“Stay was calm. Staff was very helpful, has a great bar with live music on Saturday. Breakfast was your original hotel breakfast nothing you haven't had in other hotels. That was the only thing I didn't like was the extra you had to pay for breakfast when its nothing extra! Great hotel overall clean and relaxing...”
