“What the heck? This tiny place in the middle of nowhere has the BEST ribs I've ever eaten. Here it is, the next day, and I am on the computer to write a review. Yes, it was THAT good. Amazing bark on the ribs and brisket (but not hard!) And the meat was pull-off-the-bone tender and juicy. I've never seen ribs this NATURAL and good. I didn't taste ANY sweet rubs or fake powders. It tasted like it was seasoned with salt, pepper, and 14 hours of low temps. My plate and a tea was about $23.80 so I had to sell some plasma to pay for it. I wish it was more reasonably priced. But well worth it once in a while. GREAT JOB!”

“My husband and I were driving through Brackettville after a weekend of camping at Kickapoo caverns and we stopped because it said “coffee- $1.00”. Little did we know this place would be a total GEM! We ordered a few breakfast tacos (potato and egg) that were freshly made, even the tortillas seemed homemade. The hot sauce was delicious! It was such a pleasant surprise and a perfect end to our weekend. It seems we weren’t the only fans either as there were lots of other customers popping in for breakfast tacos while we were there. Definitely worth stopping if you’re driving through town!”

“My girlfriend and I visit this restaurant regularly after church on Sundays. The pizza is thin crust style with tasty toppings. Yummy :) Extensive salad bar that always pleases my better half. The only knock on this location is the limited parking and limited indoor seating. The nice side of this coin is that their business is thriving and demand is high, but it is sometimes tough to find a decent parking spot or a table to sit down inside. Overall, the staff is quite nice and courteous. Very nice folks. What a nice treat to have a quality restaurant like The Pizza Outpost in such a small town :)”

“Excellent spot to stop and grab a burger. I've eaten here a few times on visits to Fort Clark and found them to be consistently good. Burgers are made fresh to order, none of that pre-made/wrapped stuff. Burgers are simple, but good, same with the fries. If you can wait 5-10 on your order, I heartily recommend.”
