Bill's Burgers in Lampasas

My family loves Bills! We drive the distance to have the best burger around, they are friendly and very efficient. We do not have any complaints and do not mind looking at a menu on the wall (which is a huge chalk board) and walking to place and pick up our order. The quality and the service you get is fantastic! During the COVID experience, it’s nice to have a friendly place to go where you can sit and eat with your family. Thank you!

I stopped here randomly in my first trip that took me through Lampassas. It is had a quite large and spacious interior with lots of room between tables. It has an equally huge outdoor dining space with a nice relaxing view of some hill country. There are bars inside and outside.

I ordered a Double D burger and onion rings. -The onion rings were perfectly cooked: soft onion; light, crispy batter.
-The burger was enormous. Grilled onions done perfectly. Thick bacon, perfectly cooked and I was able to bite through the bacon instead of having large chunks pull away. I've never had such thick bacon that was so easy to eat on a burger. I have large hands, and the patty was almost a complete handspan. It was just about perfect.

It may have been the best burger I have ever bought. I was stunned. Well done, Bill's.

We have ate here a couple times now. I love the mamaw burger. Their fries are very good and the onion rings are the bomb. Wonderful service and very clean and socially distanced. The staff if friendly and open. I am sure there are many smiles under the masks.

Have eaten from new location twice. Once pickup, once inside dining. Both times great service and great food. Bill's is like many chain burger places, order at counter, get food from pickup counter when they call your number. Don't be scared off by bad reviewers who don't like their system. That is just the way they are set up. The food is always great and they run a good restaurant. Nice addition to Lampasas.

Great burger and fries. Sizes of the two are ridiculously. Customer service, cleanliness inside and out, and the view off the back patio...forget about it. A must try if your in the area.
