“Coming through town between Abilene and Austin, I got hungry and went to Google to see what was recommended. Noted as the "best chicken fried steak sandwich", and a preference for local fare, I had to give it a try. I had the onion rings too. Not a bad sandwich... Not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either. There was a bit of gristle, which is never fun, but it stayed in the breading and definitely tasted house made. I sure did like their onion rings. They didn't slide out their breading like some do, and didn't flake all over the place like others may. If I come back through and get the hungers again, I may try the tasty looking fish sandwich. With onion rings, for sure.”

“We stopped here after biking 25 miles. The food was absolutely amazing. We would bike another 25 miles to eat here again. The chicken flortini (pardon the spelling) was delicious. The chicken was nice and tender, the sauce was rich and creamy. Lastly the broccoli was cooked perfectly. I wish I could give them a higher rating. We'll definitely be back.”

“After riding 19 miles we decided to give El Rodeo a try. I had the enchiladas an carbon. The cheese sauce was delicious, the meat was nice and tender. I loved the iced tea, which was served with a lime instead. The chips were served with salsa, which had just the right amount of heat. As we practice intermittent fasting, this is definitely a place we'd be happy to break fast. We'll definitely be back. The food is very good.”

“Great pretzel and pretzel roles . Draft beer is cold And very reasonable for a good beer. They Make their own German bread as well, my mom loves it. Wait staff a little short handed but they get by ;). Food is always good. Cucumber salad needs salad some seasoning and Maggi. Red cabbage was delicious. “This place offers some really good Mexican food!!! I have been here twice now and I want to keep going back so I can try everything!! The first time I bought the trash can burrito and two Al pastor tacos and I was only able to finish the burrito and it was really good, they say everything, they mean everything!! The Al pastor tacos were out of this world delicious!! Little more on the chili side than the pineapple side, but that's what I love!! I will be back!!”
