Doña Chuy's Mexican Restaurant

It was okay. Service was a bit slow and server was a bit careless. Other than that the food was okay at best. Not really comperabe to a real Chuys. All in all, pretty good for a small town diner, but not a great choice if you want to try something new.

Best catfish ever. Red sauce with chips is the best. I overheard one guest ask if they could buy red sauce to go. Yes. Another guest asked for a large bowl of red sauce with his chips instead of the small dip bowl.

Great food friendly waitstaff and comfortable atmosphere

One of my friends swears by this place, so of course he finally took me out to see for myself. When it comes to Tex Mex it is always the independent hole in the wall places which tend to do it the best and this one is of no exception. Service was a little sporadic given the low volume when we were there, but it definitely didn't take away from the welcoming environment and friendly staff. When your in the area, definitely worth the stop!
