“I was very impressed with this place. I had a car accident on I-45, near this place. Was able to make it to this Shell Station/Arby's restaurant. Sam, the manager, allowed me to stay inside (with A/C) WITH my dog - while we waited for the tow truck. Everyone was beyond nice and appreciative. Thanks for the wonderful customer service”

“I was very excited to have a new option in Buffalo. Tried a little bit of everything. Sampler platter (Don't miss out on the corn nuggets), calamari, quesabirria tacos, shrimp tacos, oysters on the half shell, and steak. Everything was AMAZING. Cooked to perfection. My rare steak had a perfect sear and seasoning was on point! The staff was attentive, but not intrusive. The game room was great fun for my boys. Thanks Valerie and staff for making my Mother's Day meal great!!”

“Bring a cooler! You are going to want to buy a bunch of stuff!! The deli area has so many meat and cheese choices. There is also fudge and baked goods. AND, check out the homemade canned goods in the center aisle. I bought smoked garlic and candied jalapenos. The only reason for stopping was the Tesla charger and for lunch (which was wonderful). I can't wait until the next trip.”

“Food is great but when you ask for extra onions or Mayo it's been disappointing. We stop here on our way coming AND going to Houston cause we love checkers! The service is good and the food is great!!!”

“Sweet staff. Was out in the boondocks and looking for chicken fried steak. The meat became soggy because of the thin gravy on top. They didn’t have mashed potatoes on the menu! Lobster ravioli tasted like lobster. Just swimming in the cheese sauce—which was great. The sauce was the same as was used for the “stuffed “ mushrooms appetizer. They were delicious, but we don’t know if they were actually stuffed with anything. Side salads were lackluster. The bread was probably the most dense we’ve ever eaten. We used them to sop up the cheese sauce.”

“Note: location may not be accurate - edit suggested This restaurant is GREAT for Salvadorian food. We're staying at a cabin by the lake nearby, and the food here was a great substitute for the fish we didn't catch. Good service, FANTASTIC food, definitely a necessary lunch stop if you're staying nearby or passing through.”

“It’s always so hard to find a great place to eat along I-45 from Houston to Dallas, so I was so thrilled to discover this hidden gem! The meatball sub, Eggplant Parmesan, and bread + olive oil dip were incredible! Absolutely incredible. And the homemade marinara sauce was fabulous. A very worthy stop on a roadtrip (or a great place to visit often if you live nearby!)! Thank you for a great meal!”

“Do not park on the west side of the building. The west side of the building is the Taco Bell drive through. I made the mistake parking on the west side. Lucky me I was able to leave my parking spot. When the drive through get busy, good luck on trying to leave or hopefully some driver leave you enough room to back up. There are other places to park. There are other food than Taco Bell. The rest room was nice and clean. Lots of road food snacks”

“Had their pizza at the 2019 ROT Biker Rally in Austin, Texas. The pizza was fantastic! Hot, crispy and their sauce is as tasty as it gets. Melissa and her crew do an awesome job and the food is out of this world.”

“Owner is very nice/laid back and helpful. It’s a basic set up. One “road” with a row to the left, and a row to the right to park your rv. Grass pads. No office, no showers, no cable, DOES have WiFi. The Downfalls(which are not their fault) are THE TRAINS. THEY COME DAY AND NIGHT ABOUT EVERY 3 HOURS. It’s so loud. The ground shakes. And I suppose truckers drive past and their brakes are loud as well. Even though they are across the highway. So park in the back. It’s About 10 minuets from Jewett Tx. Animal friendly(we have 2 huge dogs and she didn’t complain or anything). Gas stations and Dollar store within a mile. As well as a few eating places. A little “park” (not maintained, basically has a swing) less than a mile away. I’m mainly doing this review because I needed something like this and there weren’t any detailed. It’s an extremely small town and all the other rv parks near the job site were full. It rained for DAYS so it had flooded some and the owner went out of her way to get out in the FREEZING temps/sleet to bring pallets to walk on, to make things easier on everyone. It’s quiet people wise. We came in at like midnight and she was totally understanding said to choose anywhere to park. No card machine, so use cash. It was $125 a week for us. Or 3 something a month.”
