Chez Sami Lubbock

I was so excited to finally have the opportunity to make it to Chez Sami for a weekday lunch as I have been following Chef Jon on social media for a long time! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful! It feels very classy and has a romantic French atmosphere! The artwork o the walls is beautiful it almost feels like you’re not even in Lubbock! The waitress was very attentive and friendly, we were made aware of the specials and she answered all my questions. The food was served promptly, and it was DELICIOUS! The sauce was so flavorful and all the ingredients complimented each other so well! Chef Jon definitely knows what he is doing! So grateful for this gem of a restaurant to be here in Lubbock! 10/10 recommend!

We went with high expectations and it was a BIG disappointment. There were no lamb chops available, so my Wife asked for the duck. The duck was very dry and overcooked. I had the Wellington steak, it was at best, fair🤨The check was for $150.00😳We will be NOT back!!

The food was great (especially the dessert!) but the service left a lot to be desired. I hope they can get some more help so that folks aren’t waiting for help, refills, payment, needed items, etc. for so long. It looked like there were only 2 front-house and 2 back-house staff for 15-16 tables and probably 50 diners. It just didn’t work. Especially for a $$$$ dinner.

Love the other location though and will probably just opt for that one next time just because the service is so much better.

Hands down the best meal we've had in Lubbock, and we've had some great ones.

The beef wellington and beef bourguignon were both incredible. They were beautifully executed and had mind-blowing flavor.

I can't overstate the deliciousness of the lobster gnocchi, from the pillowy texture to the light but decadent sauce it was just an absolute experience. If they sold it in Big Gulp cups it still wouldn't be enough. The chocolate tart was also a fabulous end to the meal.

We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and had great service throughout our visit. We can't wait to go back and try more of Chef Walters' incredible food.

Had an amazing experience co our company dinner tonight. Food was absolutely delicious and service was fantastic! We absolutely loved when Chef Jon Walter came to the table too!
