I came in this evening and got the chicken fried rice with some egg rolls. The food was amazing. Honestly it's the best fried rice I've had in Lubbock. Had a ton of flavor and the food was very hot. The lady up front was a little irritated with me but other than that my time here was great.
Had pork egg rolls, pad thai noodles with chicken, and red curry coconut soup with beef and tofu. The food was delicious and ingredients were fresh. Lovely staff and nice location.
Glad y’all expanded as I’ve been a supporter for many years but sadly I will not return to this location. My last, and nail on the coffin, experience with this location is I called in a take out order and that order included four different orders of fried rice. I arrive at the restaurant and I am handed my order, I pay and notice that I needed to ask for a sauce container for the sauces they have available. The lady working(not the owner) informs me that I can only have one container, I will have to pay .75 for each additional container. I can understand the need to charge for extras but I have four orders that I just purchased. Shouldn’t I at least get one per order? I went ahead and purchased the additional containers because I have four orders that I know people will want sauce for but I think my problem came with nonverbals. As soon as the lady working the front said that I had to pay extra for the sauces and I had already started paying. The lady owner came out and stared until I was done with the sauces and just went back into the kitchen when I finished. I have no issue with you ma’am but you made this whole experience kind of unnecessarily awkward. To the point where I wonder why on earth I tip on my takeout orders and try to support more. I’m usually only the type of person to post nice things but I figured this could have all been a miscommunication and posting about it could potentially be helpful.
1st time eating here. I played it safe with chicken fried rice and egg rolls. The food came out hot and the eggs rolls were great esp with the sauce it comes with. The chicken fried rice was delicious. The rice was cooked perfect, no hard or undercooked pieces in there like some other places around. In the future I will come back and try more of their menu but so far, I recommend the chicken fried rice and egg rolls. If you're looking for something to share with your wife that's quick and a not too heavy lunch or dinner, you definitely can share this dish.
The food is fantastic, highly recommend everything from the curry to the noodles and fried rice
