Stopped by for lunch and tried their boudin balls for starters and got the fried catfish plate and seafood platter. We just needed our catfish fix and this is where we’ll be going in the future for fried catfish in this area.

Great customer service, our waitress was attentive and sweet; the food was delicious. If you like spicy, they have spicy! Mustard Potato salad was on point, we had a shrimp poboy which was perfect. The good thing is that it was not over salted like other places. The chef had a perfect hand in seasoning. Tartar sauce was on point. I highly recommend yall come out and give it a try. When you come over here for your 1st time they give you a sampler tray which is nice.

Fried shrimp was good, potato salad had too much mustard in it for our tastes, the fried boudin balls and hush puppies had good flavor but were really dark like the grease was dirty. The biggest issue was the service was slow. We were 1 of 3 tables when we arrived and by the time we left they had 8 tables. We saw no excuse for the slow service. Also the appetizer came just a few minutes before our main meals.

My husband was raised on Cajun food. He misses it so much being in the southwest with primarily Mexican food. This was wonderful and the gumbo brought back some great memories for him if his grandmother. We will be back. Try the root beer. Had the spicy shrimp fettuccine, gumbo, and jambalaya. Staff was aw some!!
