“Destiny is the owner and the whole reason that I visit this location. In the past I went B and C nutrition. Their shakes were good but the girl that made my shake several times always had amazing attention to detail and they always looked photo perfect at the end. One day I I came in to find that she was no longer there and was sad to see her go. I found out later that she opened up Sunshine nutrition as her own location and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Destiny will take the time to make your order exactly right and if you don't like it will remake it for something else without a fuss. She offers text ahead ordering so if you're in a rush you can text her and she'll have your shake ready by the time you get there so you can shoot out the door! While sunshine nutrition can be a bit out of the way for some, it's a perfect location for where I work and even if it wasn't I think it's worth the drive. The staff that works there is always very friendly and it's easy to see why it's the best in Lubbock.”

“Omg as a Cuban from Miami I am THRILLED this place is here. We traveled from Amarillo and we’re not disappointed. The lady that took our order was polite and didn’t mind that we were slow due to never ordering off their menu before. The food came out extremely fast and it was exactly what we ordered. “Newly opened, this Mexican restaurant was a tasty find in a town that has very limited options for dining. Chips were crisp and fresh; salsa needed a little salt but had good flavor and just the right amount of heat. Our plates had generous portions and definitely had that home-cooked taste. There were lots of tables and booths available for seating with 3 wall-mounted TVs playing shows that kept my 3rd grader entertained. Service was fast and friendly. Drink refills came without us having to ask for them. We enjoyed our late lunch and were very glad to find some good Mexican food in Idalou.”

On our most recent trip, we had breakfast. We both had the West Texas omelette and it’s incredible! Their Texas Pecan coffee is also mouthwatering!
