Chubby's

We were really excited to try a new restaurant but unfortunately Chubby’s really disappointed us tonight. The milkshakes posted on the menu drew us in - but they were very runny/not enough ice cream. Whipped cream on them was the highlight of the night though. The kids ordered a chicken friend chicken to split and the server didn’t mention it was smothered in gravy which I would have held (an experienced server would have asked about that knowing it was being given to kids, since they do not have a kids menu). It didn’t come with the fries promised so we had to wait for those to come out next. My chicken salad was ok, husband’s queso burger had pretty thin meat and the bun was nothing special. We also ordered the fried pepper jack sticks which were good. Service was extremely slow for a Thursday night (about an hour to wait for food), waitress didn’t pre-bus or check back on food quality. We spent $65 for our family of four, which is a bit pricey for this area. I hate to leave a less than perfect review, but some things will need to improve before we return and hopefully it’s just a learning curve of a new restaurant.

Food was delicious and service was outstanding...... highly recommend.
