Sam's Southern Eatery

The food is good but it was not the nicest looking place inside or out. I went to Waco for a day trip and when it came time to eat we chose this place because a Sam's location was opened in Brownwood tx that is really good so we followed Google's directions but upon arrival we noticed the name of the restaurant was changed and decided to give it a try anyway. The building didn't look so nice and the inside needed some work but the food was hot and yummy. I really like the catfish and the servings are so big that we order one plate to share with the whole family. The food is actually really tasty and price is fair. I would eat there again.

I love the food but my only pet peeve is they do not have rolls! I like a hot buttery roll with my seafood! I have not been in a while just because of the no bread deal.

Always great food,but tonight I was gonna call my order. Called five times but no answer. Got to the place at 8:15 and waited for the food for twenty five minutes for one plate

This place is fantastic! The food was delicious. You have to try the cole slaw and the red beans and rice they're just amazing. I can't leave out the service it was great! Please check this place out you'll be impressed.

Excellent food and service when visiting there for lunch today. Prices are more than reasonable and the portions are large. Service staff was very friendly and attentive.
