Lolita's Restaurante

Eh. I heard great things about this place but it didnt live up to the hype. I guess its just a local flavor thing. I've had Mexican food all over the country and this type isnt my favorite. If you want to have what Waco residents label as "Amazing" then give it a try. I wont try it again. It seemed to be texmex more than Mexican.

Let me start off by saying that the food is delicious and worth the wait. Let me also add that the wait is the only reason I'm giving four stars. I used to live very close to this location and after I discovered this place we began to order very often.

At first I began ordering just as a walk in, but waiting usually took over thirty minutes form order to getting my food. Then we began ordering over the phone, but sometimes they are so busy that they take the phone off the hook, do not answer, or there is just a busy signal. We have also dined in and the service was great. The dine in area is not very large and at times can be hard to get a table.

Overall my experiences there have been very pleasant and I do not have one complaint about the food. Again, the wait can be the killer, so I would not recommend trying to get food here if you are in a big hurry! Wait your turn, get the food, and enjoy it! I love the family owned and local nature of this restaurant.

For years I've been going there, since I was little. And yet, it always seems like he has a hang over OR he doesn't want to be there, sadly.
Lolita and her husband and the daughter are great.
I recommend the Elephant breakfast burrito.
Their fresh desserts are awesome too.

Jeremy is always so sweet. My children love talking to him when we eat at Lolita's. Their food is delicious!

If your looking for great Mexican food for BREAKFAST look no further! Lolitas has a excellent papas eggs bacon or sausage with bean plate that will rock your taste buds! And they also have a menudo that is the best in town! Go try it you will thank me later!!
