la Madeleine French Bakery & Café Waco

Very nice place, I love the layout. We took people from Mexico, they really enjoyed it...it was a unique experience. We built a tasting tray from the deserts very good. The manager spoke Spanish which was very helpful, he explained many of the dishes to our guests.

Oh wow. Waited for ever for La Madeleine to come to Waco. And it was worth the wait. Food was exquisite, dining room was gorgeous and quaint and staff was excellent. Go and enjoy

Amazing location! Staff was super friendly. Store is impeccably clean! Julie, the GM, is absolutely amazing!! She runs a great store. We will make sure to make this a stop on our next Texas roadtrip!

We had a birthday lunch there with 16 people present.

They allowed us to bring our own ice cream cake and kept it in the in the freezer for us until we were ready for it.

Kiki and another gentleman (I didn’t catch his name) took it upon themselves to help us. They made sure we had enough seating and made food recommendations also checked on us numerous times. She took away our dirty dishes and helped with the cutting and serving the cake. They brought to go containers and even put our leftovers in them. This is all very important because This is a deli style restaurant not a sit and wait to be served place.
The food was good and the service was great!!

We did have 3 people with allergies and their selection was limited but the staff was very accommodating.

I have gotten the sampler meal twice now and have LOVED it both times! Highly recommend the tomato basil soup (or pasta salad) and chicken friend paired with any of the salads! I always feel like I can be fancy while dressed in "normal people" clothes here. Wonderful atmosphere and kind staff. No complaints from this gal!
