My wife and I ate here in May 2019, but I have gone back on my own once or twice. The food is good. The restaurant clean and spacious with the sort of standard Italian Villa decor (as I recall), but it is very nice and comfortable and clean. I forget what my main course was (probably pasta) but my wife always gets lasagna. That was good. We also had escargot, buttery and garlicky. Yum! We probably both had iced tea, which is light but flavorful and not overpowering.
Nice place for a date or family outing. This was our first time here, and we were happy with our food and the service. Give it a try!
Ever walk into a place, and it feel like home? That’s Ray’s Italian Bistro in Midland.
Soft lighting, families crowded around tables, and soft Italian music floating thru the air.
Baskets of bread and oil hit the table, with big menus right behind them. The menu is simple, but full of options for pasta/meat/pizza.
Solid restaurant, with hearty options, I highly recommended Ray’s!
This is a BYOB restaurant, so bring your wine and beer and they’ll provide the cups!
11/8/2022: I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta which was delicious and tasted fresh, the bread that was provided was hot and tasty.
The service was great and everyone was very friendly.
Flavor was out of this world. Tomato meat sauce had amazing flavor - you can taste all the veggies and it had a perfect amount of garlic. The cream sauce on the ravioli was luscious! Bread is also superb. We will definitely be returning.
