Not a bad thing though you get what you paid for it’s not over priced if your really hungry just buy two burgers lol. Food is real god and quick to be given out. Big dining area connected to a truck stop grocery store so if you need to do some grocery shopping get you a burger after you get them groceries! Great food fast service!”

“I want to start my review with a quick statement. If you've been here before and have had some kind of bad experience with the food or with the staff, then you must have been somewhere else!! My wife and I stopped by to have lunch because we're new to Midland Texas and have passed by the Cotton Patch Cafe long enough to finally give it a shot, and let me tell you we were very happy that we did.. The Hostess sat us down very quickly and our server ' Sayra ' greeted us, took the drink order and then brought them back along with these amazing warm and fresh Homemade house dinner rolls!! The rolls reminded of a famous old school (Parker House Roll). Anyway, I ordered a Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries and my wife ordered a the Patty Melt with Fries. Now. My chicken sandwich HANDS DOWN was the best I've ever had and if you ever put it up against Popeye's, Wendy's, or KFC, this sandwich would slap them down to a " go back and learn something level!!" Yes, it truly was just that good. The Patty Melt my wife ordered was next level as well, with a hand formed patty, juicy caramelized onions and melted swiss cheese, all on toasted bread. That Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich is a perfectly breaded chicken breast laid on top of a bed of pickles and Bacon Mayo, along with this toasted buttered bun!!! The fries were perfectly cooked and the appetizer of deep fried pickles were some of the best I had in my travels around the country. Ask for a side of Bacon Mayo, that stuff is good on everything 😋”

“I thought Rosa and her husband were both very sweet people. My girlfriend and I ordered her deluxe funnel cake; half was birthday cake and the other was cookie and chocolate. It was very delicious and so much that I couldn't finish it that night, so I woke up in the morning and had it for breakfast lol. Only tweak I would ask is that it had a little bit more of a crunch, was a bit soft for me.”

“Everything was amazing. I had somewhat high expectations for this place considering the reviews, and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the popcorn shrimp which was perfect and generous, as well as the fried pork chops. All of it was well flavored and again generously portioned. “I’m gona give it an easy 5. Excellent pizza and wings. Covid hours were different then online. Which I’ve suggested an edit. Closed but still agreed to make me the order I placed online “since he’s we’re 10pm” not 8pm. Equipment shut down already they still fired it up and made the best fire hot wings and pizza money can buy when you’ve worked a solid 16 after arriving from from Oregon at 3am the day before flying with a 2yr old. Staff, was super awesome, made my evening! I’d wait again👌🏻”

“The kids and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We got seated right away and the drinks came promptly. Nice open environment and fun atmosphere. Server was very friendly and got our order in right away. I got the asado plate abs there was a variety of other orders. Everything was delicious, well flavored, traditional seasonings, and fresh. “The staff were nice and took our order promptly, too about five minutes for our order to come out. The burritos were big and full, a great deal for the modest price. They were tasty but there were small problems overall. The Verde had fat and gristle in it, not a lot but enough to distract. The tortillas were kind of bland and the machaca beef was in huge pieces. The server never came back once after he dropped off the food so my wife sat with no drink. He did however bring me two large bowls of salsa which I need for burritos, I use a ton of salsa per burrito. Overall I'd give this place a shot, you get tons of food for the price and it's fast with a clean building.”

“Went by with a friend and tried a bit of everything they had. Fairly good prices, food was awesome. Tacos can be ordered with cheese between the tortillas and the birria was delicious. The machete was unexpectedly huge and definitely will fill you up. I also had horchata which seemed to be made in-house and tasted great. Overall, a great find I’d definitely recommend. It was pretty hard to find but way worth it.”

“I only had a chance to try the tortillas and let me tell you they are AMAZING!!!!!!! This is why I had to leave a review. They are casera style. Most tortillas you buy at the grocery store have vinegar as a preservative and it’s a big turn off for me but not these babies!!!!! The corn tastes fresh and the flour tortillas too, no nasty aftertaste. I highly recommend coming here for your tortilla needs.”

“My last visit was 2005! This was a great day to visit after church on Sunday. As a child, teen and young woman this was such a great time with family and friends from Kelview Heights. “The Crispy Chicken Salad is my favorite. There's just something about the honey BBQ dressing and the wontons. The service has always been great and the staff is friendly. The only thing that I don't like is that the linen napkins smell...horrible. We've found stains several times on the napkins upon unwrapping and I'm not referring to permanent stains. More like left over stains from the prior meal. My guests napkin today looked like it had leftover mashed potatoe stains. I should have taken a picture of that. Anyhow I would recommend this place. The food and service make up for the napkins.”
