    Jalapeno ribs, coleslaw, and peach cobbler were spot on. The owner is a hell of a nice guy. Definitely worth the stop.

    Friendly service, we did have to wait a little bit, but the food was so good that we totally forgot about the wait! Definitely will go back soon!

    Order:

    On a 5 point scale

    *Ribs- 5.0 (house rub) they have a jalapeño rub that the owner said is really good too, will try on my next visit.
    *Potato salad - 4.6
    *Coleslaw- 4.8

    Ribs were exceptional, good bark and crust on the meat. Very tender.
    Potato salad was creamy with good texture.
    Coleslaw was fresh, could’ve used a hit of salt and a little more vinegar to brighten it up a bit. Regardless, very balanced.

    If you’re in Montague county, I highly recommend. It beats Hard-Eight or Pecan Lodge in DFW hands down.

    Ribs are AMAZING!! Great people, amazing waitresses. And I'm not much on pudding. But the banana pudding is out of this world YUM!
