Via Emilia

We had lunch at Via Emilia today.
The restaurant was completely full at 1:15 PM.
The attention was excellent.
The menu (short version available only) was quite complete.
The wine recommendation outstanding.
The ambiance (live piano playing) was superb.
We made a reservation with OpenTable and it worked perfectly.
The food was good, but not exceptional.
The cheesecake was great.

I like this place but I am not gonna rate 5 star. The ambiance is great, especially with the huge paintings on the wall and the music. The service was good. I am not too impressed with the food though. I think they are good but not great. Maybe because my friend has been hyping about this place to me for so long that my expectation was so high that it was a little disappointing. Still a nice place to go and I recommend you to try.

Food and service of a 5 star restaurant at 3 star prices. We love the fresh food here, the pasta actually tastes like it does in Italy. You can tell its fresh pasta. This coming from two people who make their own pasta at home. Nice find, really romantic ambiance too.

Went there for team dinner. On purpose selected a table which was away from piano player so that we can all talk. Overall amazing experience. Their wine selection is great and they have some amazing veg options. Everyone on the team loved their food. We were so full that we just ordered 1 dessert the cheese cake and that was delicious. Highly recommend this place.
