Woodson's Local Tap + Kitchen

A trendy little place. Has a nice little outdoor seating area, as for the inside, clean and nicely appointed. That said I can't say much for the seating; steel chairs - steel stools... not so comfy. A nice selection of craft beers, and a good assortment of things on their menu. A little pricey in my estimation of things however their queso cheese dip is excellent! Ditto the "big pretzel", the damn thing comes on its own stand and with some cheese sauce as well. Friendly capable wait staff but not up to par with Tailgators. All-in-all I like this place, this is our alternative Wednesday get together spot. Not bad at all!

Great place to grab a drink and good food. I had their crawfish and it was much better than most places that I have tried. Wait staff was very friendly and we're very attentive and helpful. I will definitely go here again and recommend it!

Food was good, but the service was to be desired. Our waitress was nice but barely came to check on us. We had to ask for refills and more drinks and even plates. A few times we had to find another waitress to get her. I'm sure the service is usually way better this was my first time there. Will update if I go back and it's a better experience

This is hands down the best place I’ve eaten outside of Houston and on par with some of the top restaurants in its class in Houston. The craft beer selection is great, the pretzel is the BEST I’ve ever had, fried pickles were great and the chicken fried steak was also amazing! I love the flavor and spice that they put in the breading and gravy!! I can’t wait to come back again to try some other items on the menu!

You definitely need to check this place out and they need to open a location in Houston (inside the loop)!
