Our waiter was good. The issue was with us paying for an $11 catfish basket and it only having 2 pieces of catfish. With a small amount of fries. We also ordered a kids plate (fried shrimp with fries) and it had than our adult baskets did. Just felt like we didn’t get enough bang for our buck here.

I was recommended the fish tacos over the shrimp, but tried one of each. The hostess was correct; the shrimp tacos are good, but have less filling and are a bit sweet [not a fan of sweet in general], while the fish tacos have a large piece of fish that fills them, they have better flavor in my opinion.
I got a cup of Pirate Stew, and I ate that from the cup while walking back to my hotel. Sadly, the first half tasted like diced tomatoes (I didn't have a good way to mix it up, and since I was laden with other foods, I just "drank" it), but the latter half was absolutely awesome.
I also got their signature burger, as said hostess stated that and the Hawaiian option were equally awesome (so I'll be going back before this trip ends), and after eating my tacos, I was full. But I had a bite after piling on all the veggies because I like those, and the meat is super flavorful. Also loved the skull and crossbones branding!
They're currently open inside, but I'm still hesitant to dine in during these weird times, so I also got a Mer-Dude to go, which is a local beer (Lorelei Brewing -- and it's awesome), so props to Blackbeard's for having solid local beers too!
I'll be back for that Aloha burger before I leave.

Fun, good and not horribly expensive. Atmosphere cannot be described without using the word rustic. Place has some miles on it for sure. Someone was at a mike singing at the far end of the place, though we couldn't hear. Service was just right, glad we went.

Food was fresh. Cooked to perfection. I had the combo basket with shrimp and fish. Battered perfectly. Hubby had a Ribeye Sandwich. He said it was great. Both my kids had popcorn shrimp and devoured their entire plate in less than 10 minutes. Mandarin orange and cherry cheesecakes were amazing.

The first time we ate here as a couple was about 9 years ago. The food is just as amazing as it was back then. The burgers were juicy. The fried shrimp was crispy. Everything was full of flavor. I had the aloha burger and it was divine. Sweet and salty with a bit of acid from the pineapple on top. This place is great!
