Dao Authentic Asian Cuisine

Honestly I was not expecting an excellent restaurant like this to be in Corpus Christi and was so glad to have stumbled in to Dao’s because their food were terrific. It was my first time and I was surprise at what I saw. They have a massive menu with plenty of great dishes to choose from. There were 6 of us on this night and we decided on their chicken with chilies and peppers (12.59$), double fried pork slices (14.59$), crispy beef (14.99$) and homemade special tofu (13.99$). Much props to the chef because everything was a hit and tasted delicious. I highly recommend every dish if you don’t know what to get and trust me you won’t be disappointed. Now these dishes are a bit pricy if you look at the prices but the portion size is fair and tasted great so I thought it was a pretty good value. The staff were friendly and nice and the atmosphere is great for family and large groups. I would come here every week if I live in Corpus but then again I would go broke if I do that.

We have ordered several times from Dao through Favor and have always had great service! The food itself is always good; we have tried many different items from the menu, and they have all been consistently great. They are also very fast. We have really enjoyed their food and can’t wait to go to the restaurant when they reopen their dining room!

Excellent. Hubby and I had the Griddle Cooked Beef Brisket with friedrice, Braise Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, and egg rolls. It was delicious! Everything was hot and tasty. The server was attentive and sweet. This is one of our favorite places now.

This is the best food I have honestly ever had, probably in my entire life! It is very true to its name, “Dao AUTHENTIC Asian Cuisine”. The food was extremely fresh, sizzling when it arrived to my table, and just so incredibly rich in flavor! It is surprisingly affordable for such fine food and the portions are generous. The staff is very kind as well. Our waiter, though I didn’t catch his name because I was so mesmerized you the food, was very attentive and patient. If I could give them 10 stars I would! My husband and I will most definitely be dining here as often as possible!
