Ginger Cafe&Grill

Don't get me wrong, their food is great. It's very authentic Mediterranean and Indian (middle Eastern), and our server was very nice. A word if warning though. If you have food allergies, be very careful with your order. Some of their items are not thoroughly described. I ordered curry with lamb. The menu said it had a curry sauce. When it was served to me, it was loaded with milk. I have lots of problems with dairy. Ask questions about allergins. I do highly recommend it, though

First time there and I loved that place, I definitely have to come back and try something else. They have a big menu with different options, also vegetarian meals. We tried the combo platter and everything was good. The waitress suggested us to take the lamb shank, it was so smooth. I was so happy that I had to take the cheesecake too and what a surprise, I think it was one of the best I ever had. Good job, keep it up!

Hubby and I shared a small plate of various appetizers. Pita type bread and chips and a dip plus stuffed grape leaves. All were quite tasty. We also shared a vegan pasta dish with a light sauce. Everything tasted fresh. Waitress was quite friendly and attentive. I'd give another half star if I could. The booth was a little cramped and we had to switch due to a wobbly table.

Was traveling from San Diego, CA to Corpus for a work trip and the front desk of my hotel recommended Ginger Cafe to me. This is some of the absolute best Greek I have had, not to mention the staff was very friendly, attentive, and incredibly generous. I don't think I have ever had better tzatziki sauce! I hope to have more work trips out this way and it will for be a regular spot I frequent when I am in town. Thank you, Ginger Cafe! Much love from Cali!

Every meal that we order was full of flavor. I personally ordered the Vegetarian Korma and lentil soup. Each spoonful AMAZING!!! Our waitress Laura knew the menu so well and her recommendations were all on point. We will definitely come back every visit to the beach.
