Mikel May's Beachside Bar & Grill

My brother lives right up the road....this pier restaurant offers beautiful ocean views and delicious fish and seafood. It is casual, open air, and has live music. We even saw sea turtles swimming while waiting for our table. Loved it.

After a few hours of swimming, we wondered up the pier to grab a bit to eat. Eating over the ocean was great. The bloody Mary's are absolutely amazing! The food was out of this world! Beautifully plated and presented, as well as delicious! Waiter was very attentive, and made sure our son was able to get his choices in, without making it obvious he was looking at us for the go ahead. (Greatly appreciated that.) The vibe was laid back. The fellow customers were so nice.

My wife and I love this place. Honestly, could do without the karaoke on Wednesday and Friday but other than that the drinks are stiff, the food is great, and the staff usually try their best to take care of us. Oh, and the prices are right on point

The atmosphere is probably the best part though. No other bar is right up on the ocean like this place. Watching all of the people playing on the beach during the day, listening to the waves crash in the beautiful darkness at night. Definitely my favorite bar/restaurant so far

This restaurant is on the pier so you are on absolute waterfront - if you got any closer you'd be swimming. They have indoor and outdoor seating, with beautiful water and beach views. Good menu with fish, chicken, and beef options plus burgers and other sandwiches. So you can go for something simple, or a little fancier. I had the grilled Mahi, and you can get it blackened as well. Their Cajun Mac & Cheese is also great. Reasonable drink prices. Most of the entrees are $10-$20, with very few higher. Live music available per their posted schedule, adds a nice touch without being too loud. Ditch the Doc, and make it Mikel's!
