“I loved this place. The food is authentic with lots of great flavors; maybe the best beans I’ve ever had. My family however was not so impressed… actually, I’m just about the only one who actually ate. Everything was spicy and even a generous amount of added crema couldn’t make it palatable for the wife and kids who have minimal spice tolerance. If your family likes spicy, awesome choice. If not, probably best to make other plans.”

“This is my favorite spot for shaved ice. I usually go old school and order the blue coconut, my all time favorite. My girl had the banana, strawberry and pineapple. The banana and pineapple tasted great too. Definitely the best spot in town if you need something to cool you down.”

“Love this place. First time I tried this new location I bought me and my boss ultimate burger combos with strawberry milkshakes. Burgers were hot and loaded with flavor. Fries were seasoned perfectly and the milkshakes complimented the food so well. Been back multiple times since and it's hit the spot every time since. Perfect location for a nice meal on the go. Don't let the line at the drive thru intimidate you. Service for me was quick and friendly as well.”

“I live a mile from this restaurant so it's VERY convenient. I have tried their breakfast and lunches and appetizers. I have NEVER gotten anything bad there. It is Awesome food. There omelets, and nachos and burritos, tacos and fajitas and tortilla soup is a few of the meals I have ordered. They were all 5 star.”

“This place is really excellent, and definitely going into our normal rotation. The staff is super nice, and the food is delicious. We did takeout for the family and everyone was happy, including the kids. “After a pretty awful experience of camping on the National Seashore, I just wanted a good breakfast and some hot coffee before driving six hours back home. This place mostly fit the bill. It was super crowded, but, since I was alone, I was able to be seated at the counter right away. A very nice cowboy was seated near me and we had a pleasant conversation while we ate. He even graciously paid for my breakfast when it was time to cash out. My breakfast was really good, came out to the counter pretty quickly, and the portions were big. I liked the legit bacon. Most places have bacon so thin you can read through it, but not Andy's. My only complaints...seriously those counter stools...I'm 6' tall and those stools were so low to the floor it was like I was sitting on the toilet. My chair was also broken and I felt like I had to plant my feet the whole time or I might fall. Lastly, I'm guessing they are famous for those blueberry muffins, but...well, I've had better muffins from a box mix. They were just kind of gray, flavorless, and didn't seem to actually have blueberries. I would definitely go back if I was in Corpus again.”

“Contacted the restaurant that afternoon to make a reservation for that night. Good thing I did. People were waiting to be seated. The waitress was courteous and friendly. Our orders did not take too long. The food looked like the pictures on their website menu. We enjoyed it. For my personal taste, more seasoning for an even better flavor would help, but the food was quality and tasty. I ordered the whole fried snapper. If you want fish, I can recommend this restaurant. My family was pleased with their food too, especially the desserts. This was our first visit to the Blue Clove. Heard so many positive comments that we had to try it.”

“The line is often long here but the wings were worth the wait! I was impressed. The hot buffalo sauce is truly hot 🥵 and addicting. The fried mushrooms were bla… IMHO they lacked flavor and were sorta dry. Which was a bummer cause I was really looking forward to having them. We will try something else next time and pass on those. The staff was super nice and helpful when ordering which was refreshing! There’s a lot on the menu so I recommend checking it out online before going or as you sit in line. 😁 Sorry no picks… next time!”

Food was great, we had lemon pepper wings and the extra hot wings. We also had pickle chips. I got a strawberry limade and it was huge but super cheap. 5 stars for sure for the food and service.”
