“I had Tennessee Whiskey Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie and it was awesome (and yes… I licked the plate)!! My wife had the BLT and loved it! The service was quick and beyond friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was everything we hoped it would be when we decided to stop. All this is enough to warrant a 5-star rating…but there is more. While checking out, I left my credit card at the counter but didn’t discover that for a couple hundred miles further east. We reached out to Brenda Hammit (owner) and she bent over backwards to assure me they had it and returned it very, very quickly. Establishments like Midpoint Cafe show every day they deserve our business…check them out if you are anywhere near Adrian, TX…you won’t regret it!”

“I was taking my sisters grandkids to school they forgot to mention they needed cans of food for the food bank the school participated in. The young man was. Really nice offered the girls each there own bag to cary the cans easier. he was thinking that far ahead and even complemented them on choice of food. Made them feel good it was awesome not many would take that time. Dont know what he gets paid or what his name is but he needs raise or huge bonus. Or something. He was working october 12 2022 at 745 am. He is a true blessing.”

“Food is very good needs more menu items but the goat curry was on point, the butter chicken was good as well along with the white rice! The Roti was good surprised me it taste like flour tortillas but it obviously is flour. Definitely recommend good prices very friendly, and don’t forget to grab a Chai Tea! Truck parking lots of it rather be here than a Pilot, loves, or petro/TA”

“Stopped in for a Late Breakfast; Lucy cooked up a Delicious Breakfast Burrito with eggs & cheese. Coffee was definitely good even with late breakfast. Lucy was entertaining with her interaction with her guest. Add in the Free self serve Fresh Nacho Chips with available hot melted cheese & multiple salsa; just can’t go wrong. Lucy is example of the slogan. Friendliness, the Texas way!! Stop in and Enjoy. Thanks Steve”

“For a middle of nowhere diner this place is impressive! The service is country, southern hospitality and so great! The food is fantastic! “This quaint and unassuming little cantina has a great menu with lots of options. I went for the tasty brisket plate and was stuffed when I was done. The atmosphere is chill and there’s plenty to look at on the walls. The server was friendly and the meal was ready in a flash. Nice to see a good place still open on Route 66.”

“My husband and I stopped here on the way through ordered a mini pizza and a sub they were both made to order by hand by Jared (I'm guessing at the spelling) seemed small but smelled amazing we each barely finished, and they were both delicious. We would deffinately stop here again. He was nice and very professional. Also bought a juice.”
