Like all the different things in the store part, bathrooms were clean, clerks nice. Cafe had good food. Be specific when ordering. Thought we'd be having a beef cutlet sandwich, not just a piece of meat, and was disappointed. But it was tasty, they have good burgers. Small fuel island and not a lot of parking but folks seem to come and go. Good stop in my opinion. Y'all be safe.

Favorite place to stop on my way to fort hood. They have a great convenient store and the restrooms are clean. They also have restaurants attached so you can get a nice bite to eat while you stop. Overall a very nice place to stop on a road trip.

Great food and drink. Along with excellent customer service. As long as you avoid the truck side; although it isn't the truck stops fault. The whole place is all around amazing. I will definitely be there for another visit.

The Maverick Travel Center is a very friendly place and exceptionally clean. It's a place that operates without the feel of corporate America. It may very well sound a bit different...but it's operated with a " down home" concern toward the people who visit the place and the peaceful environment will draw you back. Have a great day and enjoy a safe day

This was a tough call. The counter service was friendly. The dining areas were clean and the eclectic Western decor was great. At $5.49 for a huge half pound burger and $1.99 for a healthy pile of fries, it was an exceptional value. And the burger itself was almost great. Buttered and toasted bun. Nice char on the hand-formed fresh beef patty. Fresh toppings. Unfortunately, like many places, they cook the meat to well-done so the patty is very dry. The fries, though generous, were not hot or crispy and like the burger, lacked proper seasoning. I so wanted to give 5 stars because the burger was so close to greatness. But in the end I struggled to even justify 4 stars as I left disappointed. I was going with 3 but the exceptional value, great service and cleanliness got them a 4. Clean restrooms.
