David Beard's Catfish King

Very good fried catfish - especially the thicker pieces. Salad bar is excellent and fully stocked. Great lunch specials. Overall, outstanding value.

Good food. Very reasonably priced lunch menu. Tip: If you want fried shrimp, order the popcorn shrimp. It's a larger portion and they are almost as big as the butterfly shrimp.

Best food ever! Except at lunch. The last time we were there the lunch was less than good. I could’ve made better at home.

Catfish King is on the main highway and easy to see. It's a large building with a large clean parking lot and handicap access. When you walk in you'll notice a very large dining area and someone greeted us and brought us directly to our table. They were fast to bring the drinks out. We ordered the catfish. It came out fast and it was very hot. It tasted like it was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the onion rings the catfish. Hush puppies were great also. I would have to great this place as an a+. It was my first time here and I will definitely come back again. Even if I have to go out of my way. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you like my reviews please give a thumbs up. Thank you
