English Field House

Hands down one of the best places I've ever eaten! Food is so incredibly flavorful and decadent. I had the fresh orange juice, cinnamon coffee, short stack of pancakes, and green chilaquiles--all amazing!!! Will literally be going again tomorrow.

The place was busy. But we are all so glad we waited. The staff was amazing! My food (red sauce Chilaqueles) was not very flavorful compared to his green sauce ones.... the loaded pancakes were phenomenal. So much flavor packed in every bite. Even though this is a small restaurant hidden in Amarillo (outskirts really)
It's well worth the drive! Do yourself a favor and give it a try. The fresh in house squeezed orange juice is one of a kind. Now, it is a little pricey-- for 3 people we paid right at $70. Even though I wasn't a fan of my dish. We are already planning our next trip to Amarillo around their hours of operation!!!!

This place has been great for years!
Been coming to eat here for well over a decade. The atmosphere has always been the same, the staff has changed a few times over the years but still super friendly!
I used to love the Monte Christos they had on their menu.
Everything is made very well. Very tasty. If your into spicy food, try their chilaquiles (red or green) both are extremely good!

We tried a bit of everything including the biscuits and gravy, bacon cheeseburger, and the green chilaquiles with asada added on. All our food was delicious and our server was super helpful.

10/10 recommend this is low key the best place in town!

Absolutely delicious. This was possibly the best flavors Ive had on this 3 week road trip. We ordered chilaquiles with the waitresses recommend add on meat that was amazing. A herbivore omelette with some added sausage that was stuffed with veggies and meat, not thinly filled at all, and 4 kids meals of eggs, meats, and pancakes covered in blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, Nutella and a few other things. After 3 weeks on the road making stops this was our favorite. Thank you ladies both waitresses and amazing cooks!
