Metropolitan - A Speakeasy

I think it is beautiful inside! The staff was very professional and almost each one who passed our table said hello. The early evening we went they had a live band practicing and boy they sounded awesome, wish I heard them more then the sound check. My husband absolutely Loved his salmon, he loved all that was on his plate. He couldn't stop talking about it. I loved dessert! This is a place you can just go for lunch or make it for a fancy dinner. You can't go wrong with picking this as your dining experience

Though very cool looking with great bar options (dirty bloody mary😋), the pricey steak we ordered was overcooked and SAAAALTY. Love me some salt, but this? Too much. Cheese board was good. Dessert average. Too big for its prohibition-era briches and price.

Dining at The Metropolitan is always a lovely experience. The salmon, steak, and chicken dishes are all delicious. Don’t skip the unique date cake for dessert. I love the “rules” in the menu and the vibe! Especially when there is live music. Shoutout to a very attentive staff and their professionalism.

Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and large bourbon and wine selection. We were very happy to pop into to this place, the bar is perfect for drinks and the bartender was super helpful. Definitely recommend the TX Bourbon Cobbler!
