Jo's Bar & Grill

I was recently working in the area, and stopped in a few times after an evening swim in the state park, that is right down the road.

Excellent food, very polite and welcoming service, and Jo is one pleasant fellow to shoot the sh#t with in the Cantina. Enjoyed meeting him and his company as I dined and drank. He is also has a wealth of local knowledge, lore and shared some very good stories.

This place and it's people are truly one of those West Texas gems that are getting hard to find these days.

I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in the area, and highly recommend you swing in!

Disarmingly good everything. For the only restaurant in town practically, they go way above and beyond. The pork rinds are the standout, but the queso steak, Alfredo, wings and Philly cheesesteak were all shockingly good. These people know their stuff.

Travelled to Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch for a backpacking trip in 2021, and we stopped at Jo's both on the way there and on the way back. Good , hot food tastes even better when you've been backpacking for 8 days. Even though our group of 20ish college students came in late, they stayed open for us! Would stop in again.

If you're looking for good, down-home cooking, Jo's Bar & Grill is the place to go. No frozen patties thrown in the grease here. Fries were hand-cut and ranch dressing is homemade. Seriously coming back!

We went back in Sept. The food was good and fresh. Prices weren't to bad either. I would recommend this place.
