    Good, fast healthier food. In my Dallas burb we have few options and even fewer for healthier items such as salads. By no means do I suggest this is health food, but it's not traditional fast food. The Fuji apple chicken is my choice. The white balsamic is great.

    Panera is an oasis in the wasteland of commercially available fast foods. Their promise is to deliver real food at affordable prices. And they consistently do so! Portions are a wee bit lacking, but the quality offsets the bistro-portion size.

    We hadn't been to a Panera Bread in a while. I ordered mac and cheese with bacon. It was so good! The tea choices at the soda fountain were unusual, yet refreshing! The service was quick and cheerful.
