Google Maps: There are no Hardee's in Texas.
In the 1980's, Imasco, a Canadian corporation, had acquired Hardee's. Then Imasco bought other small U.S. diners in financial trouble to create more Hardee's locations.
In 2010, CKE then bought all the Hardee's locations, merging them with Carl's Jr.
The logos appear similar, but the 2 brands then wanted to specialize, with Hardee's appealing to Southern cooking traditions, and the Midwest.
Carl's Jr, named after Carl Karcher who once had a hotdog cart in Los Angeles back in 1941, is the brand name in the West / Southwest USA.
Hardee's does not exist in Rockwall, Texas Love's Travel's Stop.
