Great food and environment. Very reasonable prices. Will be back Saturday the 13th around 7pm.
A friendly eatery & sports pub with a big menu to please most appetites, and room for desserts!
On a corner of historic downtown Royse City, Texas, you see the window front as you drive by. But when you actually walk inside, it is much bigger!
Plenty of tables, 25 or so, and bigscreens all around with sports, etc
Open until Midnight! I asked for their menu to share on Google Maps, and wow, the offer steaks, salads, and great desserts, not just typical deep-fried bar food.
But I ate already... the helpful waitress showed me to a table with power outlets so I could upload to Google Maps.
I ordered liquid dessert... a Deep Ellum IPA, local brew. Very good draft beer.
The bar counter seats 12 to 15, and a group of friends enjoyed rounds of laughter with the bartender.
Parking is limited in front, you may have to stroll a bit from over yonder, but Alumni Sports Bar is worth it.

Visited during lunch. For appetizer, had the fried pickles...lightly battered and fried perfectly. Not greasy. For entre, had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich grilled with sweet potato fries...chicken was grilled to perfection and the buffalo sauce, though messy, was on point! The sweet potato fries had a little charred taste, but good nonetheless. Callie, my server, was kind, quick and professional. The pricing is fair and the menu has a great variety...the overall service and experience A+.
Really good service great food! Awesome staff! However only three stars because on my way out some fat girl with neon pink hair threatened me for accidentally bumping in to her in the way to my car. Now I know it’s not the company’s fault but according to her, her boyfriend either owns the place or works there and is always lurking in the parking lot. Gotta park down the street so she doesn’t key my car.
