Service is good. Food comes out hot and the chips and salsa are plentiful.

In the middle of Royse City, Texas old Historic Downtown district, a medium-sized eatery offering standard Mexican dishes on the mild side.

The interior walls are covered in bright colored festive murals of dancers and life in Mexico.

Many wanted posters from the Revolutinary Era in Mexico, offering bounty for Emiliano Zapata or Francisco "Pancho" Villa, and others.

A full service bar, unattended tonight, with only four barstools. Beer and wine also served.

It was closing time, they had 5 of the 12 tables seated on a Thursday night, some families with little kids.

I had beef tacos at Joe's Taqueria, but still was a bit hungry. I asked for a plain bean burrito, and I got two small bean tacos.

Some parts of Mexico, they don't do burritos like in USA. I guess these guys were from Morelos, Mexico.

Anyways, the waitresses were nice, brought me chips & salsa. The chips were thin white corn, you could eat a thousand of these.... the salsa was fresh, but Not Hot at all, a bit salty in fact.

Barely above Taco Bell, even with all the Mexican Revolution antiques... They were nice, so I give them 4 stars. Seems like the cook for the locals.

The food is awesome! The Margaritas even better!
Our waitress had a great personality and was a wonderful waitress!

Best Mexican food around imo. The workers are so nice. Food is priced very well. Chips and salsa is to die for. Yum!

First time in, but I will be back. Quick service and my steak fajitas were delicious. They were out in 5 minutes. Lunch specials from 5.95 to 7.99. A great value!
