“Small friendly restaurant and bar.. parking is bad. We had a great time. I was at bar waiting for husband to show up. I ordered a lemon drop shot (not very good, tasted like syrup) I just stayed with beer. We went back the next morning for mimosas and breakfast. Omelets are huge. I ordered 2 eggs plate with bacon... they have great bacon. Mimosa tasted cheap, like they used some off the wall liquor/champagne... I wasn't very happy with the mimosa ... food was great.”

“For a fast food joint it isn't all that bad. The place seems to be busy all the time. No table waiting, as everything is ordered at the counter like a McDonald's. After you place your order you get a receipt with a number. When your number is called you fetch your meal. Get your own chips and salsa, that you purchase. The food was good but the cost is similar to that of a full service restaurant without the tip. I couldn't put my finger on it but there is something about the setup that I just couldn't get over. I just never felt comfortable about the idea of it being fast food.”

“The people who work here are usually very nice. Last trip to Subway was not so good. They wouldn't make a sandwich tray for me even though there was nobody else in the store (because it wasn't ordered 24 hours in advance) but they did make 5 foot long sandwiches... the equivalent of a sandwich tray, and sell them to me for the price of each sandwich. Lame!”

“Holy smokes! This guy knows how to BBQ! After driving through the area and doing a quick Google search, decided to give it a try. I tried the three meat plate (brisket, sausage & pulled pork). The ribs weren’t ready yet, so I subbed the pulled pork. All 3 & both sides (beans and potato salad) were delicious! Might be out in the middle of nowhere, but let me tell you; you’re going to want to stop! Will definitely stop again next time I’m driving through!”

“The food here is great! I believe this place is way underrated!!! The green sauce is thick and creamy with cilantro. It's my favorite. Perfect for dipping. They also have REAL QUESO. El Taquito has a relaxed and mild atmosphere. It is a great place to go if you want to hear/ talk to the people eating with you. There isn't any annoying blaring music to try to talk over. The service is very good too. For is also VERY affordable.”
