Friendly, prompt service, huge portions, and cheap prices! Even kind enough to add a local magazine to our take out lunch. Thanks a bunch!

Tried this place out for the first time
Everything was delicious from the house salad and gumbo to the fresh oysters, grilled shrimp fish, scallops, and crab cake,, to the fried fish and fried shrimp... and the drinks ????
    Definitely will be back

This is the first time there. I ordered the fisherman's platter. Way to much for one person to eat. The fried platter was over the top. The waitress suggested that the grilled plate would be easier to manage. The sweet potato fries were good, but they sprinkled sugar on the fries, turned into a dessert. My only issue was the food was slow to be served. I do not know if this is a kitchen issue or what. Overall I had.plenty to eat. The food was not over cooked as some restaurants do to their oysters or scallops. The atmosphere was nice, a good place for a date or business meal.

We came here for a birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and the serving sizes where big!! We had appetizers, drinks and dinner and everything was spot on. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good seafood. 6 of us ate and drank at a cost of 200$ and left with 3 boxes of leftovers, so price point is very reasonable.

I've been a long-time customer of The Big Fisherman. When I found out it was closed I was very disappointed. When I found out the daughter of the family who owned it had opened another location I had to come try it.

This was my first time dining at the new restaurant. Prices on the food we're very good. The Fisherman's Platter was the item I always ordered at the other restaurant , so what I ordered my first visit here.

The batter on the fish was different than the original, but was very tasty. Portion sizes on the plate were very large, but a few items that were on the original we're not included on this new version.

The shrimp and oysters that came on my plate were very large, the scallops had good flavor and texture, and the coleslaw was decent. The tartar sauce was very good, and the fish that came on the plate was cooked where it fell apart but had a nice crust. The plate also came with a stuffed crab that was one of the better stuffed crabs I've had.

I'll definitely be returning, if not for another Fisherman's Platter to try some other items. This is a place I would recommend to anyone vacationing or visiting in the area.
