Stopped in for lunch, ended up buying dozens of various cookies for my office. IMO, all the cookies but the praline tasted the same to me, it was odd. I emailed the company about it. Update: the local manager contacted me and explained that, yes, the cookies have changed. The change was due to overall quality assurance and marketing needs. For example, the cookies (no matter what flavor) need to have a company-wide consistent shape and size. So the company uses the same basic cookie dough recipe and cutters...but adds different flavorings. Bingo! We figured it out! The personal contact was mucho appreciated and demonstrated really good customer service skills by the Lindale manager.
Very nice store, clean, and organized. The store was not very busy , I came in and the employees looked at me but didn't speak or greet like they did some of the other customers maybe they were regulars. It was my first time.
I love this place. Came here to Tesla supercharge and decided to go inside and see what this bakery is about. I previously ordered a fruit cake from them for Christmas and it was the best I’ve ever had.
The inside is really nice and clean, the staff was some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met! I got a variety of things to try and everything was amazing! I got a coffee, a donut, cherry turnover, and a lemon bar for my road-trip. I was very impressed by the quality and deliciousness of all of the sweets I bought! Definitely a must see! Grab some treats while you’re there!
The fruit cakes are full of nuts and fruit and are always moist. There are many varieties and sizes to choose from. They have the best angel food cake I've ever had. The pecan pie is quite good. The cookies are nice and chewy when fresh, but can't get stale quickly. The croissants for the sandwiches are baked fresh daily and are delicious. It's a go to travel spot for lunch sandwiches, fun sodas, and treats.
Great place to get snacks, lunch and gifts or cakes and pies for later. Love the seasonal local produce stand in the parking lot!
