Red Lobster

Feels like a time warp back to the 90's. When I was a kid, we never went here because we couldn't afford it. So when I went, as an adult, my expectations were not met. I always assumed it was an upscale place with better-than-average food and service. Nope, pretty much average. Decor seems really dated. Service was good, but nothing special. Food was okay, but didn't have a whole lot of flavor. The fact that the clientele was mostly people in their 60's seems to support my thesis that it hasn't changed much since I was a kid. If you want seafood in Tyler, there are way better options.

This is another 1 we go to when we can. Staff is excellent. Usually not a long wait. Some lunch specials but great food. Try the Gumbo

This was the best Red Lobster I've eaten at in a long time. The ones around Houston seem to be lacking. The staff was amazing and the food was fresh and made well. Tyler Red Lobster is great!!

The service was excellent..restaurant was clean and looked well kept..we received our meal in a timely manor. They had new help in the kitchen so there was a slight mix up when our food came out. The waitress noticed immediately and it was fixed. The food had good flavor and our meal was hot when it arrived..I really enjoyed my dining experience. Would recommend.and will be going back soon.

This red lobster has special sentiment attached to it. My girl and I used to go here then have all you can eat crab legs in summer and stay for hours and hours. We just sit half the day and crack crabs drank a few drinks and chill. I don't think they do the all you can eat crab legs anymore but this is still in most excellent place to dine. They always are the greatest staff and it's always clean efficient and amazing Seafood for this far inland. I went to college in Tyler and this is a to place hang out for college students of the area.
