I came here because the hotel front desk suggested this place. It was good. I had the Chicken Alfredo. At first I thought my chicken was burned, but it was not, the dark part is pure great extra flavor! It was lunch, it was better than I expected. Saturday, at 2:30pm, about 7 big tables with 6 to 10 people, there were no 2 tops, only parties. FYI. Our waitress was on point, Victoria, worth the effort to ask for her, she knows her stuff plus she is really young and cute. Plus Jay Leno eats here.
Food was good. Service was bad. Restaurant was not busy, for a Sunday lunch. Took an hour from the time we walked in to the time we got our food. They sat us in the most out-of-the-way area, and seemed to forget about us. There was a sign posted that they were hiring, which may explain the slow service. But in this town, with so many options, you simply cannot afford to have less than solid service. The food choices are good, though. I had the eggplant parmesan, and loved it.
I get the chicken parmesan and calamari when I visit but I've stopped eating here because you barely get any chicken on your plate. It's paper-thin chicken for $12. The calamari is pretty good though. It's a nice atmosphere.
Service was excellent as always. Had the chicken genovese, which was rather bland and tasteless. Everyone else really enjoyed their food though. We will continue to eat there. I will just order something different. Dessert was the chocolate mousse which was absolutely amazing.
