“Food is excellent. They serve generous portions. For $9 with fries and drink. The Gyro and shrimp are huge. Had to wait a while for food. I think they lost our order and had to go back to order counter.”

“This is some of the best BBQ that I have had in a long time. The staff is super friendly and it is family run. Everything is so juicy. The sauce is home made, but you really don't need it unless you just like sauce. The turkey flavor is great if you can't eat too much brisket. Definitely pre-order though and buy twice what you think you need because you can use it for days and make all sorts of fun stuff! I love Saturdays now!!!”

“This is my 2nd trip. Definitely recommend the shrimp, it was full of flavor, no sauce needed! Cajun tamales are GREAT! I also enjoyed the boudin, crab bites and the pineapple (but prepare yourself, it is packed with cajun heat!) I still have lots to try, they have a nice variety on their menu. What really makes the place a favorite is that it has a really great atmosphere, filled with friendly staff and patrons. Outdoor seating, live music and kid friendly!”

“Update 12/23/17: been back 4 times since previous review, deleting previous as they have fixed what ever was going on during that month. Since I have had great food and Service. Justin and Hanna are great servers if you get a chance to have them wait on you. I am glad my previous review is fixed as this is the best breakfast place in town as I stated before and is my favorite. You have the dinner but they like to put an over cooked tomato on everything the wait is long and service is sub standard at best (menu selection is also lacking and prices are a bit high for quality of food and if you need to make your own breakfast). You have sweet sues buffet which is sub standard with food quality, been around a long time but it is just to run down for me. (Affordable tho) Then the buffet at golden coral which is good, I just don't ever feel good after eating at that place (and the buffet price can be considered high for breakfast). And then there is mama's, it's cheap food with decent service All in all you still can't beat this place for the best price per quality and service in town for breakfast. I am happy things are running back to normal. Considering the amount of times I eat here I have only had a few bad experiences out of a 100 or so occasions. I started to go back because the other places in town were lacking and I am glad I did. Had one of those were do we go for breakfast and we did not want to go to the others, and would rather give our favorite we missed so much another try.”
