“This was our second time to go to Mama Mia's. It was very good both times. We took our elderly parents with us this time and they really enjoyed it, too. My husband had a chicken chili relleno and I had a taco dinner. Last time we had the tacos al carbon. All were well seasoned and good portion sizes. Dad had the shrimp cocktail and said it was delicious. Mom had chicken fajitas for one and took enough home for another meal!”

“The food here is SO good. It’s got a very friendly environment as well. Always my first choice in Glen Rose! Nobody around has “down home” comfort food like Sugar Biscuits, but I appreciate there are lots of healthy options too. You can tell they use really high quality, fresh, ingredients-and you get huge servings for a really reasonable price. Highly recommend. The attention to detail and high standards of this place is on par with any high-dollar bistro in Dallas. I LOVE the daily specials and the chicken salad on a big croissant! Also the pimento cheese, loaded potato soup, and the tomato basil are the best I’ve ever had! I have just had the best experiences here with food and the service- you should absolutely come! AND there are casseroles you can take home for your family that makes weeknight dinners so simple. Everybody loves them.”

Waitress was friendly and fast we didn’t have to wait 30 minutes like a lot of other reviews stated and our food was not precooked frozen meats like I read in another review. Now about the table behind us obviously was not from Texas ( our opinion she was a California liberal) and complained about everything and stated they were not leaving the young girl a tip that’s ok we took care of that for her. Thank y’all for a wonderful dinner!”

“We have eaten here twice and can't wait to go back. It is located in an old historic house with a lot of character, the food is great, service was great, and the owners are so friendly. It was within in walking distance of downtown so we took a stroll when we finished our meal.This would be a good place for a romantic date or a cool atmosphere for a group. When we are back in Glen Rose we plan to eat there again!”

“What an amazing place, I absolutely loved it! My room was adorable, clean and comfortable. I was there for a couple of days for a strategic planning retreat with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors. The meeting room is spacious and I loved the huge fireplace in there. It has a beautiful view of the river, its so peaceful. The dining was wonderful, it's worth going just to try their delicious food. Staff was friendly and always ready to help. I would highly recommend scheduling a stay here!”

“This was an okay place. There are not too many options in Glen Rose so it worked for us. The interior is spacious and has a decent decoration. Good for groups, families and kids. The food was good overall with the fajitas done nicely. The tortillas are made fresh and you can see them baked right in front. Our desert - a flan and a lava cake, were both awesome. Two points for which I took a star away - 1. The servers are not very nice - they try but come across pretty insincere. 2. They have a lot of broken plates and they didn't seem to care.”
